Frequently Asked Questions

Is there anything we need to know about Polish weddings?

Expect lots of Polish food, starting in the afternoon and served through the course of the celebrations. The party will go on until the small hours of the morning. We’ll have plenty of beer, wine, and vodka, plus plenty of non-alcoholic options.

There will be games, and guests will be encouraged to participate. They are low-key, fun, and inclusive, and nothing is mandatory. The goal is to bring new friends closer together!

Where & when is everything taking place?

The wedding and party will happen on the afternoon of Saturday, July 5th, at Oaza Leńcze. We’ll also host an informal, optional get-together on the evening of Friday, July 4th, at Smil’y Tavern in Kraków city center. For more details go to the Itinerary section.

How can I get to the venue?

Oaza Leńcze is a 40-minute drive from Kraków city center. There’s free parking for all our guests.

Uber or other taxi services will drive from Kraków city center to the venue. To get back to Kraków after the party, hop on one of the scheduled ‘tipsy buses’ or we’ll help you arrange a taxi for more flexibility.

More details about transportation will come in the weeks before the wedding.

Where should we stay?

We recommend staying in Kraków city center (Old Town and Kazimierz are the most historic neighborhoods). There are lots of good hotels and Airbnbs. Whether you plan to visit for the weekend or longer, this will be a great home base for exploring the region. We will share some specific recommendations in the first weeks of 2025. Stay tuned!

Do you have a registry?

We don’t have a registry. Please do not feel obliged, but you could follow the Polish tradition of giving couples cash to help them start their new married life or plan a honeymoon.

Please visit the Gifts section for more information.

What’s the dress code?

For the wedding day, we suggest festive yet comfortable attire. The venue is air-conditioned, but we expect to spend time outside as well.

Are children invited?

Yes! We’ll provide kid-friendly food and entertainment. Let us know if we can help out in any other way.

More updates are coming!
